Zen Doodle Origami

Barron’s

If you enjoy Zen doodling and origami, you will love the way the two are brought together here. After an introduction to Zen doodling – the repetitive drawing of patterns – and the basics of origami, step-by-step instructions are given for 36 projects including flowers, birds, fish, a mobile aquarium, a magical box and woven patterns.

This is not a book for those new to Zen doodling as some of the patterns are quite complex. They are all beautiful, intriguing, challenging, and lots of fun. This could be used for creative group gatherings or for a fun family night with kids of all ages. There are 20 sheets of origami paper included.
