Olbas Herbal Remedies

Olbas Herbal Remedies
Aromatherapy Inhalant and Massage Oil

From Switzerland and originating over 100 years ago, Olbas Oil contains six essential oils: peppermint, eucalyptus, cajeput, wintergreen, juniper, and cloves. This oil is for external use only and can be inhaled, put into massage oil, massaged onto one’s feet or added to a pan of hot or cold water and can be used on a compress for aches and pains or to refresh one’s self by using on the forehead.

The scent is delightful and I have been using it in my diffuser in the morning to create a spa-like environment. This has definitely helped in opening the nasal passages and I can see how helpful it would be during the healing of a cold, something many people are experiencing at this time of year.

The company also makes an inhaler, cough drops and syrup and lozenges as well as a salve, bath blend, and herbal tea. If you’re looking for something soothing and invigorating at the same time, give Olbas Oil a try, it really is as good as the marketing materials say it is.
