A Seven-Step Path to Gratitude and Growth
by Laurie Buchanan, PhD

Don’t read this book. Do it instead! Based on the seven chakras, this is a self-help book that can help you let go of emotional baggage and reclaim your highest and best self. The seven selves are related to the chakras: self-preservation, self-gratification, self-definition, self-acceptance. self-expression, self-reflection, and self-knowledge.

For each of these areas, the chapter offers 10 sections: mind-body connection, color therapy, diet, aromatherapy, affirmations, the business of being, breath work, wellness inventory and vitality check, action steps, and personal energy signature.

The book is based on the Life Harmony Wellness Program designed by the author who is a holistic health practitioner and transformational life coach. The program is not one to be taken lightly and it could bring up issues needing more in-depth work with a counselor. However, if you’re ready to do some deep healing and letting go, Note to Self could be just the ticket for you.
