Yes, that means you!
Oh my, this world is in a strange state of affairs, full of controversy, anger, sadness and so on and so on. It’s so easy to get bogged down in it, cry in desperation, rise up in fury or hunker down in depression. We can’t sit around and do nothing, yet many of our efforts feel fruitless, fear driven and useless. What’s a person to do?
I’m not talking riot here. I am way too much of a pacifist for that. (I recently actually referred to myself as a metaphysical Pollyanna.) I am talking about drawing on the intuitive peace that lies deep within each of us and letting it rise to the surface and beyond through the use of our innate creativity. Ancient teachings say, “You must share the wisdom and truth that you already possess.”
One of the greatest lessons that I learned comes from the spiritual master Maitreya (http://maitreya.co/affirmations-2/affirmation-for-throat-chakra/). He says:
• Speak your truth quietly and clearly with love.
I wish for each of us to take this further, and do so in our innate creative way.
• Communicate your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• Write your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• Draw/paint your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• Sculpt/carve your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• Sing your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• Play your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• Dance your truth quietly and clearly with love.
• …and the list goes on.
Get inspired. Dig deep. Look within. Use your intuitive creative gifts to create your truth quietly and clearly with love.
Allow yourself to fully play in your creativity and childlike wonder. Use the surge of energy from all that is occurring aroundyou to ignite your passion. Let the process bring you release and joy, no matter what the product is. You can decide if, when and how to share. Just know that there is an outlet for it somewhere and you will find common ground with others (or they will find you). As we individually allow our intuition to flow, the quiet and clearly will rise to a quiet peaceful roar. Together we can create an energy of force.
If you feel lost and unsure of what your innate creativity and passion is, try a few of the above or try them all. Write, draw, make music, sing, dance, sculpt, do glasswork, paint, garden, hike, create in any way that flows from you. Find yourself a teacher, a guide, a class or group to work with. Meditate with a notebook close by and write what flows immediately after. Listen for guidance and watch for signs. Remember what gave you that spark of joy when you were a child. Ignite that spark to light the way.
It’s time to rise up. Let the wisdom and truth that you innately possess flow. Flood the world with innovative creative awesomeness. By inspiring yourself, you inspire others. It can and will change this world and move us forward.
